 I’m getting a headache whenever I paint. This was a struggle. I feel like I’m getting nowhere.

I think I’m improving a little bit. I really struggled with the color of the peach paper and the cast shadows. I’m such an impatient person it’s hard for me to not be great right away!

Revisiting an apple today. I felt like I was slightly more comfortable today. I got the colors pretty close to the real apple. Struggled with the highlights. The white just kept blending and ultimately they are too big. Also my background lacks depth. I bought Sarah Sedwigs oil painting boot camp so I’m excited for that!

 The colors here made me happy. I am learning a lot about the color wheel. I have no idea how to get that glowing color on oranges. I’m searching for a class or online course to get me going better.

 Still feeling very frustrated with myself. I have beauty in my head and no idea how to get it on the board. Just keep trying, that’s what I’m chanting.
